I agree with your statement. People get mad at me when I tell them something like that. When they "hack", I'd tell them that downloading a piece of software & pressing a start button does not make them a hacker. I always try to tell them that they can not be an expert in something they do not understand and the principle on which it works. The only way you can manipulate or make things do something is if you understand the concept behind it. Flying w/ autopilot does not make you a real pilot :)

What bothers me more is that even if all mainstream media did run this story, I truely at this point think nobody cares. Sure you and I do, but it just doesn't seem to matter where "We The People" stand any longer. That might be a good idea - however, I have voted for decades, and most of the people that I have seen at the polling places have a hard enough time getting folks signed up, let alone trying to do technical work or backups. Paper ballots are nearly foolproof (well, except in Florida) LOL.
