Well, Jorn Lande's voice is just so well-crafted and complete in all ways. He can create all kinds of nuances with only one voice! He can also impersonate that characteristic "Dio-grit" needed to pull off a song like this! I'm not saying Jarko is bad, he's great, but I think Jorn could be even more convincing in his try on this song. If you visit his myspace, and then click on his friend (and guitarist) Jorn Viggo Lofstad, you can hear "Straight Through the Heart" live, on the playlist!

Like I said sometime before, I think he does a good job covering this. But one singer who actually CAN compete with Dio himself when covering this kinda stuff, is norwegian metal god Jorn Lande! Please check him out, he has covered "Straight Through the Heart" and "Kill The King", both do Dio justice without a doubt! And that was the commercial for today, lol..
