they obviously weren't voicing it when the foal was being attacked and the foal would of died anyway because it's back legs wouldn't work and a camera person should not intervene.

Zebras do it too, even if its a healthy foal. If its not the stallions foal, why have it around? They get rid of any foals that arent theirs.

This is so sad..my mom had a healthy foal before ..before i was born hehe and her stallion just did that..so its not because it was trying to help it but it just wants to be the head stallion and have all the mares...pretty sad ..i know :(

ok you guys, its not so bad, the stallion was helping the foal. the foal would have probably been eaten alive. Its life. his back legs WERE NOT WORKING. YES, ITS SAD, BUT I WOULD RATHER HAVE IT DIE THAT WAY THAN HAVING IT BE STARVED

i disagree, my stepdad pulled a calf a few weeks ago and its feet were swollen and the calf could not walk, would not even try. the vet put splints on its legs to help strengthen its legs and it turned out the best bull calf we have had. I give up on NO animal no matter what. i believe in hope i certainly dont 'give up' like so many of you would!!!

If that foal could not walk there would no point to keep it a live. A foal or horse that cannot walk or even stand will die, human interferis or not.

Even if somethin was wrong it the morality of it. It very well could have been saved and couldve had a chance at life. lions killing ppl is also nature but we kill the lions that do it. When a mama dog stops feedn her newborn pups thats nature but most humans would step in an help the pups. it may be nature for a stud to kill a colt but why stand back and let it happen and watch the helpless thing kick and squill for help and reicieve none?

if you think about it, these are wild horses (are they not) and she had no right to invade their space, whether or not captured on camera, this still happens, it was frightening for me, but i can understand why he did it.

If camera person had taken it to a vet there is a possible chance that foal couldn't be saved and have to be euthinzed. LookingGlass did that foal a favor. Its nature. Nothing can change that. That foal's fate was sealed. Trust me I know it hurts to see this, but I know that LookingGlass saved that foal from a horrible death. Euthinzed or not.

In a lifetime of loving and working with horses, I've never seen that before, and never wish to again... It's not very surprising actually. The foal had an obvious deformity in his hind legs. It's an instinct in the animal world to kill or eat young that have something wrong with them or behave strangely. Sad to us humans but it prevents the mutation from being passed on. That colt was going to starve anyway.
