I agree with you, but now the talking heads are saying that it could cost upwards of 1.3 TRILLION dollars because they don't exactly know how much this problem is going to cost, and that they will learn this as they go along. This is all political code-speak for "the rich will steal every penny they can and get away with it." All of these companies are going to be bought out and the top execs. are going to take their bonuses and move to Argentina, just like some of the Nazis did in WWll.

I agree. Both my parents worked at breckenridge in the 70s and hadnt skied on anything but straights untill 04 when i first went skiing.(yea kinda sad parents worked at a ski area i didnt go untill i was 15) they taught me the basics the first day and i was doin fine the second. But they could still smoke me... that form stayed with them and they can absolutley fly on parabolics. In conclusion a beginner can carve but still cant catch someone with form.

Ha! I used to race in the late '60's and early '70's with skis (Rossignal Strato's and Dynamic VR-17's) that required excellent technique to carve. These skis were rockets once you knew how to carve. Now any moron can carve with crappy technique.

Some years ago french instructors tried to ban danish instructors from their resorts, but that was only because they felt threatened by the talented and friendly danes. the vid is just old thats all. the technique evolves with the skis. in the future there will be wider skis with a wide waist, which will allow excellent carving and good float on deepsnow. (twintips are wide but I mean even they get wider during the time) example is the voelkl sumo. (tip has something with 140)

Basically, stance training is an essential part of kung fu across China. It is the foundation of good leg work and stamina. It helps to be able to stand and move in a stable manner in combat, and not get pushed over. The longer you can do it, the better. I don't know of any traditional kung fu style where stance training is not considered important and don't believe in long stance sessions. But in the modern day, few have the time, patience or the discipline.

I have lost 25 pounds since August 1st doing a low calorie diet. I have hit a plateau these last two weeks and need to rethink my program. I will try to follow yours and eat six small meals a day with protein every three hours. I hope I can get back on track because I have a long way to go to reach my goal.
