I remeber in 06 when Arkasas went to the SEC game. Darren McFadden was AMAZING, but when he left, Arkansas fell of the cliff. I hope Florida does not fall like that when Tebow leaves, he's been their ENTIRE offense. Brantley is nowhere near the talent level of Tebow. To be honest, i dont know how any coach could come in and fill Paul Bryant's shoes. Im forever greatfull that Gene Stallings was able to do that for our program. I think Bama has a great football history. I would never take anything away from them, but you've got to look at recent-relevent history. If you don't then Princeton with 28 national championships and Yale with 27 would be kings of college football. Florida had relatively no football history before 1990. We finished 2nd in the nation in 1984(9-1-1) and again in 1985. Florida is most definately a stronger program in the last 20 years than Bama. No debate needed.

This team was very overrated. Only reason this team got their second NC was because of their love affairs with the refs. Oregon was far better but the refs gave them that win.
