I suppose the first part of the word octave (oct from 'octo' meaning 8) is why I chose the eight note variation. Other scales may have a different number of notes covering the range of an octave, such as the Arabic classical scale with 17, 19, or even 24 notes (semitones), but the word "octave" is still used. I would've been more accurate saying "when the 8th note of a P8 (perfect 8 interval octave) is reached, a new scale begins, at double (or half) the frequency of the root note, repeatedly.

Scared Geometry Is A pretty intense study. The concepts can be grasped and put to use through the Merkaba meditation. I have found this form of meditation very difficult to do corectly, but thats just me I watched another video indicating that the form I learned was incorrect. This truth applied to the unchanging perfections of both Sacred Geometry and all multiple dimensional possibilities would point to a continuing correspondence. Hello djsuperstar717, This is my answer to your question: Sacred Geometry is conceptual reality on multiple dimensional planes. The first dimension (Oneness/Unity) expresses geometrically as THE Single Point; Single Point beyond duality. The Second dimensional root expresses geometrically as Two Points and THE Circle. A 4-minute video cannot do justice to the richness of the Waldorf geometry curriculum, which extends over all 8 grades. Waldorf students learn about Pythagoras in Grade 5 - my class even performed a play about him -- and his theorem is presented several different ways from grades 5 through 8. Euclid's theorems are also taught with rigor in grade 8. Waldorf students LOVE geometry!

There is nothing inherently dull about geometry! So the first statement in this video already turns me off. And no mention of Pythagorus? Don't pretend to talk to me about the "rigorous" foundation of these patterns without talking about Pythagorus. Don't show me pretty pictures, show me students who will grow up to build bridges that don't fall down. If Waldorf geometry is only about the aesthetics of geometric patterns, then Waldorf is not teaching geometry. It is teaching aesthetics.

Actually you were completely wrong or completely right. The "Western" part of Western Civilization doesn't mean the physical location. Some definitions would say it would and some would say it is. However I learned about Egypt in my Western Civilization class.
