I seen this advertised and i think its a "underdog" of a true movie. It had so much put into it, the start was a little bit bland, but then again so was dr.pucnic... I watched it to fall asleep, didnt assume i'd stay away laughing and feeling sorry for him...but regardless what people say, its worth a good look at, on your own so you can truely admire it. Peer pressure really ruins great movies...

Well worsethansex123, you seemingly got off enjoying yourself displaying pomposity accusing the same of me. I didn't use a word past 10th grade level difficulty and you needed to use a thesaurus and felt intimidated? Kiernan I agree with you about the point of the movie being fun well performed use of some cliched plots and situations but it flowed well enough and Gervais provided the comedy panache of reacting to the cliches as the character within the movie snarking for us.

You guys, YouTube is not an intellectual battlefield. I enjoyed the movie, and was laughing all the way through. Gervais is a gifted comedic actor, and I am thrilled to see Leoni and Kinnear flex their comedic muscles here. I may have to watch it a couple more times, in all honesty. Also, thesauruses don't really make you smarter. Smarts come from experience, not plasticity.

This movie was pretty entertaining. the comedy was original and funny especially mostly in the beginning. And toward the end, it was getting emotional which puts more of an effect onto its viewers. personally, i liked the movie and so did my friends.

yeah Americans want porn and lust or overly ridiculous sentimental. People who wouldn't like old simple 30s-50s clever romance movies wouldn't like this. Especially if you don't have Brit humor class. I at first thought silly stupid but I guess I finally caught onto Gervais humor and the lifting of some other ghost romance movies and relazed to enjoy it. This tune is just so bad ass. I am from America and really not sure of the politcal meaning behind it cause well im not from the UK. But I believe this has a way deeper meaning than the face value of it. Ghost Town refers to crappy goverment back in the 70's in London - correct me if im wrong. American didn't get alot of this music back in the 80's. But this video did make it to MTV when MTV didnt suck ass.I can appreciate it though cause the Ghost Town can repeat itself like history does.

In the area which Crosby is located there are very very few permanent residents and this area is very desolate. This is one of the most beautiful, culture-rich states.
