Yet they pick jabronis like Jack White who absolutely sucks and Kurt Cobain in the Top 20? That is a sacrilege. Gilmour became the King of the Stratocaster after Jimi Hendrix passed away. The keyboard player is Jan Hammer. He's a pretty accomplished player. But yes, he's annoying as heck in a Les Paul tribute video. He's all over the stage in the Eddie Van Halen clip taken from this same concert. He has no business being on that stage ... maybe at an Elton John tribute concert. But not one for Les Paul.

Well, if ur play Van Halen type stuff, you should definatley put better pickups in this guitar. The Strat stacks up pretty well against Ibanez, unless we're talking shred or something. In the end, It's your choice.
