About 30 years ago I met GV thru a girl at my school who was related to him or knew someone who was related to him or WHATEVER...then it was "I Just Wanna Stop".. Years later, someone gave me a mix tape with "Wild Horses" on it and it drove me crazy b/c she didn't list the songs on the cassette cover and I could never figure out who sang it.... this was before I had a home computer and GOOGLE. Recently something reminded me of that tape so I GOOGLED "Wild Horses" and whatya' know....

This is classic Gino. I was 14 when this album was released. It was one of my favorites and still is. I have it on vinyl and have been trying to find it on CD for years in the used shops... The guy was a major star even if it was somewhat underground. Whoever said he wasn't a Record Company butt kisser is exactly right. The guy did it ON HIS terms..not theirs...That's why his music is still memorable and fresh now as it was in 1980! Would love to see him in concert today! Go Gino!
