You are wrong. See my other reply. They weren't as crude as that in those days. The script writers then were capable of genuine word-play jokes which were funny without being crude, unlike most of today's script writers.

I've answered this before. There are two types of bill hook: one is a type of axe for cutting hedges and coppicing and the other is a desk device with a sharp point on which one places ones bills (invoices). a I hope that clarifies. Chris.
