James is a high stroke risk. Fingers crossed.
By: calimar28. on 05 Jan 09, 20:17:09
LOL while Matthews is indroducing Kevin James at :28, notice the big smirk on James's face. He has no idea what is coming...
By: dsobon. on 05 Jan 09, 16:10:48
This goes back a bit, but to my recollection, Bush's statements in question came very closely behind former President Carter meeting with Hezbollah in the Palestinian region. Is it possible that Bush was referring to Carter? I find it far more likely and more logical.
By: Geographer76. on 05 Jan 09, 04:02:42
Minly because Matthews wouldn't shut up long enough for James to answer.
By: Geographer76. on 05 Jan 09, 04:02:05
True, Matthews does rant loudly and tend to run all over his guests. Good point.
By: winterdream88. on 04 Jan 09, 21:55:29
Because people who scream have a tendency to not be quiet or not listen. As you saw here.
By: winterdream88. on 04 Jan 09, 21:54:03
This is a perfect example of conservatives that let their mouth off. He didn't even admit he didn't know.
By: Geographer76. on 04 Jan 09, 15:57:44
Why does Matthews have a problem with James screaming? Matthews constantly rants in a high level scream.
By: Geographer76. on 04 Jan 09, 13:56:27
Have drink and go to church? Is't Obama the one who brought up the idea of people sitting down with him and having a beer? And Church? Hmmm, maybe Obama isn't the one to discuss that, sitting in a church for 20 years and not knowing what the preacher was saying. Maybe Obama suffers from ADD?
By: brutalblkmassta. on 04 Jan 09, 13:51:42
I love the GOP They are all about slogans and supporting idiots, hey as long as they can have a drink with him and he goes to church they will vote for him, thats guy Kevin James is a total idiot typical idiot, appeasment 30x

So Piled High and deep does not apply...perhaps... Push here Dummy You seem focused on wanting an appology, sounds like you have confidence issues and a need for edification, but until you prove my "opinions" wrong, by indicating that nations routinely violate their treaties, there is no need for an appology of any kind. I do understand world politics, as well as politics in general, and one solid truth is that politicians cannot be trusted. Nor can those with advanced degrees.
By: purplesimba. on 02 Jan 09, 15:45:21
If you understood the norms of world politics you would get it. But you refuse to listen or do any research on the matter. You just simply keep stating your opinions, when they have nothing to do with how politics is played. You just make shit up and think its right because your saying it. Thats not how politics works. So get the facts then say sorry. The only thing that is "piled high and deep" is my knowledge and understanding of International relations, law and politics. Not computers. Thanks =)
By: Geographer76. on 02 Jan 09, 15:25:29
Well, you are the alleged "expert" but now you lay your comments off on the "international community". So much for your PhD credentials. Must mean "Piled high and Deep". BTW my degrees are in Computer Science and Sociology, so I do not claim to be an expert on international relations, but I know that if the U.S. were to routinely violate our treaties, as you suggest, we would be even less trusted than now. I may not be "treaty trainied", but you are devoid of all intellect on the matter.
By: purplesimba. on 02 Jan 09, 12:06:41
No, its not my understanding, it is the international communities understanding. I don't make the rules, I just know the policy. Just do your research instead of flapping your mouth on youtube. Go look it up and then you can come back and say your sorry to me, you moron. Go back to school.
By: Geographer76. on 02 Jan 09, 04:15:11
So, In your understanding of treaties, no nation need abide by them, since they are non binding, which means that if the U.S. were to sign the Law Of the Sea Treaty being pushed by the U.N. we would have no need to abide by it? If that is true (which I doubt) why have a treaty? After all by your reasoning they are useless. BTW, everyone here has a PhD, hadn't you noticed?
By: purplesimba. on 02 Jan 09, 03:29:05
Buddy, I wasn't getting on your ass about anything. I was merely stating that in the world of actual political science, which I hold a Phd degree in, treaties are non-binding. No personal attacks like you. I was just informing you sir, thats all. You should be thanking me for correcting you because I would have done the same if you had corrected me.
By: Geographer76. on 02 Jan 09, 03:16:33
I guess in the liberal twisted bizzarro world treaties are non binding, but in the real world they do mean something. Or perhaps it was the liberal left who signed all the treaties with native Americans??? No wonder they lost their homes, the damned lefty libs, ya can't trust 'em.
By: purplesimba. on 02 Jan 09, 01:21:13
Not upholding a treaty is not appeasement. Treaties are non-binding in world politics, states back out of treaties all of the time if it is in their best interest to do so. That is in no way appeasement.
By: Geographer76. on 01 Jan 09, 23:24:24
That's the beauty of living in America, we have the right of free speech, but we are not guaranteed the right to be heard. This is important so that you too have an opportunity to be ignored. You may want to take a refresher course on diplomacy. Appeasement is not diplomacy. You apparently need a refresher on world history as well, if you were up to par, you would comprehend the difference between an Armistice Treaty and a Defense Treaty. You apparently do not know the difference.
By: Muchodelcrazy. on 01 Jan 09, 23:16:38
Are you still talking? Dude, I don't think anybody's listening to you. It's called diplomacy, dumbass. Look it up. Letting Hitler take half of Czechoslovakia is not dioplomacy. Renegotiating treaties is... and you do realize that too many treaties like this is a large part of what caused WW2, right? If you've ever played the game "Diplomacy" you might know that.
By: Geographer76. on 01 Jan 09, 22:57:09
If Obama makes ANY concessions of land, freedom, or policy to a nation such as Iran, he will be, in fact, an appeaser. This includes causing the U.S. to back away from any provision of it's support for Israel. We have a treaty, and if we do not uphold it, that is appeasement.
By: Geographer76. on 01 Jan 09, 22:54:19
Matthews is guilty of the error, of which he accuses James. He apparently doesn't know that Chamberlain didn't give away Czechoslovakia. Hitler took a large portion of Checkoslovakia before Chamberlain met with him. Then Chamberlain sat on his hands while hitler took the remainder of Czechoslovakia and the Sudentenkand and the Saar. Then Chamberlain foolishly accepted Hitlers word of Peace and non aggression even after Hitler had invaded areas of Eastern Europe in a piecemeal fashion.
By: Geographer76. on 01 Jan 09, 22:38:16
Regarding your WW2 reference, are you saying that we didn't talk to Japan prior to the war??
By: Geographer76. on 01 Jan 09, 22:34:09
I think you may over estimate the intellect of the other 2, all three are running a few sandwiches short of a picnic, Green is understandable as he's just a mindless stooge spouting the party line, But Matthews is and always has been about as tolerable as fingernails on a blackboard. He's an irritant and of little value as a news host, he's more like a professional oxygen thief.
