I really love this song. I have 2 daughters and divorced my oldest hasn't heard from her father since she was 2 yrs (his choice-not mine) I hope my daughter takes this song to heart and no matter what she does in life that she knows that there's a bigger love than what she could of ever got from her real father

I don't know how big a hit this song was; I do remember hearing it some on the radio, but it should have been a big hit because it's beautiful. I sure a lot of little boys and girls can relate to this song; I just hope they know they'll always have the love of their Heavenly Father.

I can relate to this song, my real dad died, but my step dad bashed me for anything, beat me mum and put her down all the time, we ended up leaving and moving away, but this song, it's so great!!! Jimmy Wayne is a champion!
