Drums have a great effect, but he should be doing less of one and 5 beats and should add in some crazy jazz and funk beats to make it a little bit more energetic, especially in the chorus, you know, tapping up near the nut for a bell effect in some spots. Sorry, just a musician griping when they're obviously fine the way they are, lol. Sounds great!

Why? Noise isolating is better logically. Noise cancelling needs response time for the noise to be recorded (at a high quality too), and cancelled out in antiphase. Noise cancelling doesn't need to do that, it just blocks.

hmm a lot bass...for very cheap. I Would recommend the Creative Ep-630, Ep-830, Nuforce Ne-7m, Ne-8, Ultimate Ears 150, jays j-Jays (m-Jays is a better deal, comes with a microphone attachment cable for only $36 total) The Whole Altec Lansing BackBeat Series. These are all around $50 or less (except the Altec Lansing BackBeat Titanium, $80). Hope that helped, good luck!

To me, the bose are one of the least worth buying earphones, they retail for $100, but there are so many sub $100 IEM's that out perform the Bose. For example the jays s-Jays, at $80, a lot of the times even less. even the Nuforce Ne-8, which at at $69. They are also smaller in size and have a better isolation design.

actually he has a point. The Bose In-Ear are one of the two earphones actually worth buying, along with the Shure SE420. (yes the Bose In-Ear are good, I have a pair. I also have a pair of pro monitoring cans, and the Bose does a pretty good job of keeping up with them. Obviously not nearly as good, but for the average listener, it wont make much difference.)

So true. The largest model of headphones they sell is alright, but despite what everyone says, they are NOT bass heavy, theyre actually high mid-treble heavy. They dont have much bass at all to be honest... In my opinion, theres only two kinds of earbuds that are worth buying. The Shure SE420s and the Bose In-Ear. I have the Bose and I can recommend them. A lot of friends say the Shures are great too.

I recently got these headphones as a gift and they are amazing. Don't listen to the people that say they suck, they are really high quality headphones and deliver great sound. It's worth the price, but really expensive. You get a case, 4 spear earbuds, a case for those, headphones with a remote and microphone, and spare mesh caps for $80. Whether you buy it or not is mostly about sound preference I think.

omg...the original style Apple headphones sucked so hard...they literally made my ears bleed X_o I currently use ATH-M50s for everthing. Sure they may be monitoring cans, but they work just fine for standard listening too. Very....VERY comfortable too. You can wear them for hours and hours and they wont heat up and become uncomfortable.

I had such a terrible time with these! They didn't get in my ear for shit! I had to press them into my canal and hold them there to get any sound quality out of them - otherwise they sounded like a high treble phone ringing under a pile of sheets. I tried each size but they never wanted to stay in. I guess they only work for a very specific ear structure. I returned them and bought Metalocalypse Season 2
