Well, considering that Logos means "word", the title could mean, "World without Words" which would explain the non-understandable lyrics. Of course, The Wordcould refer to God, which would mean that the title means "The World Without God" Which also might explain it. (Second explanation courtasy of the comic And Shine Heaven Now.)

True enough, but if you want to take the argument past the petty linguistics; Animated material has become so engrained in japanese popular culture, and the quality of many of these titles has reached such a high level that it is prudent to seporate these products from there western cousins (which pale in comparison). That being said I don't beleve hellsing is one of the better anime. It has a certain stylistic appeal, but the plot isn't all that compelling & the characters are a bit shallow.

the anime is better beacuse the storyline is better thought out(EVIL NAZIS WERE IN A WHOLE BUNCH A GAMES LIKE BLOODRAYNE WHO IS WITH BOTH VAMPIRES AND NAZIS)and somethings don't add up like Alucard in the OVA talks about life death etc. but his shown to be a blood crazed monster who slaughthers(didn't spell it right) them while in the anime he is far more introspective and coolheaded.

I thought this is trailer for the TV SERIES. Similar scenes and artstyle. The case with The Major at the end was IMO: The Hellsing TV series was cut down short because Kouta Hirano wasn't pleased how it didn't follow manga's storyline. They prob had in mind introducing Major in the series but when it was cancelled after 13 eps they decided to do Ultimate (OVA). I remember downloading this trailer at the same time the series was online, in year 200X. But I might be wrong with these allegations.

.... as much as I could care less about ova, sorry, the original's better, I have to show a little sympathy for those who still don't know where the name Alucard came from. Spell it backwards. And for those who don't know this little bit either, Vlad the Impailer was also know as Dracula. His full name was Vlad Dracula, and that's where everything from Count Dracula to Alucard came from. It isn't some big coincedence, but the only original thing here was Alucard. Does no one know thier history?

All 9 hellsing manga books = The best! Nothing beats to read hellsing late at night in bed :D Hellsing original Tv series(13 eps)= Lolwut? Hellsing OVA = Awesomeness and Godlike! This AMV = Awesome!! 5*&Fave! If you like zombie apocalypse "It's the end of the world" themed manga with a ton of blood and gore and awesome art work, you should look up: Highschool of the Dead Search for it and you will find the scans easy. Enjoy! I recomend it!
