Artem8, how then can we explain to these contradicting verses? Those verses u posted imply we can be sinless and those verses I posted imply we cannot. If you understand Romans 7:7-25 especially verse 20 explains it all "Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it". So as long as you're in ur physical body, it is impossible to be without sin. If u truely believe in Christ then u're made right in the eyes of God even so.

James 3:8-9 "but NO MAN can tame the tongue... with the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men..." James 3:2 "We ALL stumbe in many ways. Man I hope so! I want to be pleasing to my Father. God teaches me something everyday, through His Word, Conversations with my pastor and others, always teaching. I am always learning to be a better follower of Christ. If I were perfect there wouldn't be anything more to learn. God is Perfect & it is Him that I am learning to be like. Artem8, also look at Paul's 2 Cor 12 where he mentioned his weaknesses and sin "thorn of flesh". Paul as a Christian though a new creation still has sin because there's no perfection until you're up in heaven. New creation doesn't mean "sinless" but rather a change in life, having a new focus that is in God rather than the old that focus on the world. If u believe we can be sinless, I'm fine with it but dun persecute other Christians by saying they're not saved as they still sin. =)

By saying it is possible to be sinless would mean it is against the bible's saying and is a lie by itself. All men are weak and are prone to sin. As a true Christian, u tend be God-focus and less sin-focus. Subjected to God, not to sin. Bounded by salvation, not by death but doesn't mean u'll be perfect. There's no need for love in perfection.

Artem8, we are not slave to sin when we're not subjected to its consequences of death due to the salvation from Christ but this doesn't mean sinless. Do you dare to claim you're sinless as a Christian? None of the Apostles dare. Jesus said even by thoughts is already a sin! The meaning of "free" is that we're free from thinking of death as the wages of sin is death but repentance to Christ is salvation. Since saved, you're free from death. It is only possible if taken out of context.

Yes, even a Christian can fall in the enemys trap. Repent is the next word to type here. The best advice I can give a Christian is get plugged in at your church, surround yourself with other believers and lean on one another.
