I use prismacolor sketching pencils and I bought an $8 handheld Staedtler battery powered sharpener and it works really well, gives a nice clean point.

higgins waterproof ink pat catans, michaels, joann fabrics... if you do this technique make sure the ink is waterproof to prevent smearing. this is the technique i usually use.. but for highlights i use white acrylic paint and smudge it in with my thumb so its blended into the watercolor more and not as rough.

your artstyle is pretty nice, the angular lines would work perfect in a shounen/action type manga. I tend to lean more towards a visual novel style that can emphasize on a girl's cuteness, but I'm also very fond of Arakawa Hiromu's artwork.

I don't have photoshop, so I draw all my stuff by hand. the pencil work isn't the final line, as inking has to be done afterwords. This can be done with either a black colored pencil, or a pen(I'm trying to get a hold of some Pigma Micron pens, since I can only do freehand right now.). With photoshop, it doesn't really how you do the lines at first since everything is layered, so you can keep layering and erasing till you get the desired image, and coloring is easy with photoshop.

I love this!!! The music was great and worked excellently with the pictures! The pictures were beautiuful and though I haven't seen all the anime yet, it looks like this is one of those rare animes where they actually stuck to the storyline! I was amazed to actually see pictures in there that were also used in the anime! I'm very happy! Thank you for posting this! No prob, as for the "outrageous fluke" bit though, it really isn't. There's a lot we're still learning about planet formation, but we know enough to know that there are many forces working to produce planets with such orbits, and now we see them all over the place. A young solar system is pretty chaotic, yet they tend to settle down into something a bit like ours.

It is true that there really is no such thing as a "perfectly" stable orbit. Given long enough, the Earth would either spiral into the Sun or shoot off into space. Thankfully, we are darn close to stable and the sun will go giant well before either happens.

Very nice presentation. You could perhaps mention that kinetic energy is not necessarily conserved within the system when the person does work on the spinning object he's holding or her limbs, respectively. But that would perhaps complicate things a bit too much and subtract from the crystal-clearness of the video's point. A a suggestion you could do a complementary :)

No, when you plug it in it will work like a retarded mouse. You wont be able to use the pressure sensitivity and a lot of the applications it can be used with(drawing and photo touching will be difficult). You will need to install the drivers and tweak the tablet to suit your uses. Drivers are freely available at Wacoms official website.

I got a Manga Studio 4 and a tablet for christmas, and I know this you/lovene uses MS3 but 4 is so confusing when it comes to the pen tool because I had used MS3 before at a friend of mines and the pen on MS 3 was soo much easier to use. So yea, I hope to find a way to get the new pen tool to work like the pen tool in MS3

i got mine 5 days ago. i've already gotten used to it how ever i guess it does depend on who uses it. im not very good at drawing manga yet. i find it helps to keep the tablet to the right/left of the monitor and just watch the cursor.

I got a tablet on christmas and i felt the same as you but then i found that i can trace over my pencil paper drawings ontop of the tablet with the special pen. Although like it shows it takes alot of construction lines and tries.

A lil' question: I got my first tablet a few weeks ago, and today I still can't get used to it - I just can't draw most of the lines at the right place, every little curve can ruin a pic, and for a simple line I can draw on paper, I need several tries to get it right on tablet, is that usual? How long is the learning curve to a tablet? And can I ask how long does it usually take you to draw a pic?

I think the finished ink is filled in with pastel Green before he begins coloring because using cool neutral colors can help you see true color instead of when you look at colors in high contrast to White. You can see lots of other artists on youtube using a low saturation green, blue, purple... Or, it could be some kind of technique where he can easily color in the selected green areas like in : youtube. com/watch?v=v2RX1ajocz4

To azucenap, her heels are 3in. There are many brands of shoes it's all about your arch and how your feet settle in the shoe. Personaly 3" are more comfortable to me because I have a high arch, but most wear a 2 1/2" it all depends on comfort and support. Rey Rose, Dance Naturals, Supadance, International and Dancefeel are some of the top of the line latin dance shoes. Rey Rose are my favorites but I have had Supadance and Dance Naturals in the past. Best of luck shopping!
