I am very impressed with the performances here and would love to see these musicians more on screen. The lighting of the various cuts are bold and stylized much like the smooth camera work. It is clear that, though fiercely independent, this production is made to challenge the big market. I only hope that viewers are smart enough to take the time on what should prove to be a real think piece. Let just hope the marketing is as well crafted as the film itself.

I was fortunate to speak w/Kerry just a few days before the filming started.. I could sense the excitement that he was feeling about the impact this film has the potential to make. He described his character in the movie as someone that he could relate to. I can see just by the little clips in the trailer that he was right... I agree 100% I love the way Lucas juxtaposes Milner and Falfa during this song. Milner is seen pulling away from being hassled by the local cop. I was at that show, the first I'd ever seen them in concert and Reagan said afterwards that it wasn't his best set but he was grateful to be there. Shiny Toy Guns was also put onto that little stage while all the industrial bands like ChemLab were on the larger stage. Then again, I didn't like that stage either. It was ridiculously high up. I was so stupidly tired that day too that I made an ass out of myself talking to Reagan until he asked if I was okay. Heh. Good memory though.
