True, but electrons are hit by photons, and use that energy to 'bump' themselves to a next valence. They release the light afterwords, so in a lit room all electrons are emmiting light. Its not whats showing on the plates though, electrons react with the plate and the plate emits light.

This is actually pretty simple, you have to understand that quantum mechanics behave based on pseudo random chaos waves, which unpredictably manipulate spacetime. The electrons fall into place based on probability. Theres a chance that each band will be the resultant. Besides by firing them one at a time they were just increasing the distance between the electrons. Cant really explain the last part though, maybe the observer's mass stole the negative magnetic waves, leaving only matter.

i always wondered what would happen if the observer would be a high tech recorder which would self explode (or something) after recording, without the possibility of men ever watching it. would it show a regular pattern or a wave pattern? if it would show a wave pattern that would mean human observation causes the past to be changed. only the possibility of anybody to observe it would cause regular patterns. can somebody tell me if this experiment has been done before?

your comment, that's stupid. electron does not create light. In fact, they are something similar: Electromagnetic waves. It's pretty hard to explain in a YouTube-comment but electron is not some tiny ball but rather a 'part of the 4-dimension space' where a certain wave's characteristics are valid most(90%) of the time. If you are interested, send me a private message and I'll try to explain more clearly, I had a healthy amount of phisycs at the university.

When you talk about electrons as particles or as waves, you simply focus on different qualities of the same thing. The trick is that electrons are both waves AND particles at the same time. The problem is that we have a concept of particles that they are little balls orbiting around each other. So we cannot really 'imagine' them being waves. When using 3 slits, the phenomenon is the same, only the maths differ (thus, the brightness of the various lines).

Let me clear up some things which i hope make this a bit clearer. When electrons are fired through the slits, it is electrons that hit the wall - not light. Each electron is as it was when it left the gun, that is a particle and not a wave. Also the electron does not emit light on its journey. You are right that some of the electrons do miss the slits and do not contribute to the interference pattern.

NASCAR is better than ever! I've followed NASCAR for over 40 years. In the old days we'd listen to the race on MRN Radio but it was still very exciting. My dad took us to most all of the major tracks back in the 60's & 70's. We camped at the tracks and watched every practice, qualifing and the races. I can say that I find today's racing to be better than ever! Sure, the driver's personalities are toned down but the racing is far better than it used to be!

I'm 47 and have loved NASCAR since I was old enough to understand what was going on. My dad raced short track here in western NC when I was four years old. My point is this - Being an avid fan for 40+ years it's my opinion that NASCAR racing is better today than ever! In the old days Petty, Allison, Waltrip or whoever would usually win by a HUGE margin. Engines blew constantly, tires were crap, safety was ... practically NONE. We lost drivers every single year. NASCAR is awesome!

Hi Darol, I got the DVD several months ago and love it. The only thing I think could be mentioned is what the left hand is doing on the non-note chops. Sometimes it seems like the fingers are muting the strings slightly. I've had mixed results with this. P.S. is that your Dahlia? I have one too!

Er...Stuff like this still happens today, and replays after the game don't mean anything, neither do on-field replays, apparently. Example: Oregon vs. Oklahoma, obvious botch, and I don't even like Oklahoma. The only people I've seen justify the call are Oregon fans (slight bias). Some are sill waiting for their "telegram" from that ref. Oh well, won't be the last time.

What no-one remembers about the Colorado fifth down is that Missouri tried to cheat by not watering their sand-based turf. Without the three-inch spikes that Missouri was wearing, Colorado players dropped behind the line of scrimmage all day with no Tiger anywhere near them. im not sure about this social system, it doesnt looks that deep graphically looks good the explosions r nice but the animations needs some work the voice acting is really good so far, atleast cole's and i like the comic book style however the story is looking bad, the whole thing about the explosion and super powers looks extremely generic for whatve seen the games is great now sucker punch only needs to put all this awesome features in a nice single player experience and done

wow at first this game didnt looked that good to me (kinda generic) but now i see all the posibilities the climbing system is really good and you can use it to get high ground or something like that in a battle the vertical/horizontal cover system looks great and it works perfectly with the climbin system the powers looks ok so far i hope they balance em and there r some nice moves like flying, and sliding over cables (ign videos) and they INTERACT WITH THE ENVIRONMENT, nice

I remember hating Atia at first in this series, but by this scene I was totally rooting for her! I wanted to punch that little twat Livia! Go Atia! In this way, Rome really does remind me of A Song of Ice and Fire in the way that characters whom I thought were horrible at first eventually grow on me, all due to the skill of the author/storyteller. Although I still don't *like* Atia as a person, I absolutely love her as a character. She is wonderfully played by Polly Walker. :-)

I took your advice and found a clip of your "old School" boys. New and fresh is not always a good thing. I guess beating on the side of a guitar is your kind of thing, but as for me I like PICKING!!!! and these young guns are picking the stuffing out of it. And they sure are getting a lot of air time to be so "boring" yet I had never heard of this other group until today! That tells me something.

They are good my friend but its the same old stuff over and over again. No rhythmic or modal variations. I'd heard all about them "cutting new ground" and found them to be doing different songs and tunes in the exact same way as everybody else. Good "machine gun" chops but not fresh..Yawn
