I really hate this movie. What matters the most was the drifting, but they failed at that so badly. The drifts were unfinished most of the time. I'm sorry to say but the guys drifting in Tokyo Drift was better. F*ck and im an Initial D Fan too. I wish japan made this movie instead cuz they have crazy drifters there. The only good thing about this movie are the cars are the exact replica.

i own a miata as well and they do not drift like magic unless you tune it to suck (drift) hahaha jk, but when i am bored i try to drift it (my miata is stock) just go full speed into a corner and lift off the throttle the results are scary and fun ;) have fun. anyways drifting is just for fun no one in their right mind would purposely oversteer their car if they are trying to go fast.

really? no 240sx is like 55 or 60 front, miata is not a great drift car because of the short wheel base, but you can get them side ways if you are that bored or want to go slow.

the reason rally cars slide is because they have a lack of grip because they are running on dirt and snow roads not on tarmac. the fastest way is still keeping the car straight as possible over steer is more of a problem going uphill but it also depends on the road set up like in one of the local roads here there is turns that are banked out going uphill which just kicks your rear out so sometimes it leaves you having to correct. sometimes i do get bored so i slide the car around for fun.

They're racing downhill and the amount of countersteer done by the 86 is very minimal. There are lots of hairpins and s-curves on those mountain roads so sometimes the fastest way around them is by sliding the car. It's kind of like rally racing.

Yep, they didn't have Toyota's permission to use Trueno yet because at first the studio was unsure of Initial D's success so they didn't want to spend extra money for rights. With the crappy graphics, poor design, and cheezy animation, no one at the studio would have guessed that it would achieve a strong rating and a lot of money for the studio to make Second Stage.

No, all of you are wrong. God Foot drives a 4WD Jade Green Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec N�r, not the FR version. Don't be misled by the fact that God Foot can drift a GT-R. He's called "God Foot" because of his god-like ability to drift a 4WD w/ ATTESA-ETS by modulating the throttle. The spectators in the anime are amazed that he can drift something that isn't RWD. Story-wise: Ryosuke instructs Keisuke (FD) to save his tires by giving God Foot a 7 second lead uphill, then going all out downhill.
