I'd be curious as to what he would say for the mid 80s rear drive corolla's commonly known as the ae86. Like mine, that I love despite the 'ricer stigma they now have. Sure, not cheap now and perhaps the hype is going down or at least settling in but I can see it becoming a legit collector car in the future. Also good to see older Japanese cars getting more and more attention as of late, rx3's, old celica's and corolla's, 510's ect other then just the 240z's which we knew would be a collector.

Price is determined by Demand/supply. The more demand the lower the price because you can make up the figures in quantity. That is why RX-7's Supra's and 3000GT's sell so high and Civic's don't, because the demand for Civics are so high. The lower the supply means the higher the demand, which means the rarer it is the more expensive it is. Ex: most people have completey forgotten or never heard of a GT-4, but they still sell for high prices, because they are rare not because of their following.

Well I have a VR-4 and a 92 at that and I paid 15k for it. There are also the 99 hardtops and I have seen more than one top 40k if it's original, low mileage and unmolested. There's enough people interested in them to keep them highly valued. For a legit 99 you'll be paying alot because they are rare, and a hardtop vert. there were literally about 100 of them made for that year. I used to want a ST185 but I couldnt find one, those cars are sick. The old Honda S600's are really expensive too.

I did forget the celica, we got 3 different models, st165, st185, st205, 2 popup headlight versions and 1 bubble eye version. all 3 are very rare. vr4 was rare and expensive also, but it doesn't have as big of a following it seems like. as for the skylines, we didn't get them here so i didn't include that, but you can go to canada and get a r32 for less than $20k, some less than $15k, you must have a good plan for getting back across the border tho, but it is doable.

You're forgetting about the 3000GT VR-4's. If you can find a unmodified low mileage VR-4 Hardtop convertible expect to pay atleast 30k for one. Especially if you can find a 99 model. The Celica GT-4 All-trac unmodified low mileage, could take in 30-40k easily. They only imported 89 of them I believe. The Skylines already go for about 70-100k. Find a R32 V-Spec, or R33 V-SpecII Nur and youll be paying Atleast 150k.

True. I think with sufficient motivation, the act of suicide itself does not take much courage. Perhaps a lot of contemplation, but not necessarily courage. In my opinion, its the other way around. The suicide bombers of September 11 could be called cowards in that they did what they did then disappeared from the face of the earth. Doing well but a tad bit bored. Thinking of watching a movie on Hulu but I am about movied out for the moment. My special local friend has to work the midnight shift so he won't be around to talk with. If I get really, really bored, I may go into Stickam but I am not planning on it. Effen snowed today. On the subjec though, I fully agree- but I think that perhaps it would serve a stronger purpose to have a graceful exit available if society was a better place, since now it just feels like we'd be throwing people right out the uterus into the meat grinder.. which it is already to a certain degree, but only in a mental way and not a physical way, difference being you can learn to live with being in a mental meat-grinder :P)

did you hear about the heiress, Von Bulow I believe her name was...she was comatose for 3 decades, and the first year of upkeep for her condition was something well over 1/4 of a million dollars. One can only imagine how many people would be well off if the costs used to prolong that "life" were put into different avenues of priority. That's just one case. But I suppose it's not much to do with the subject aside from the fact that most of us certainly wouldn't want to spend decades like that.

I had the misfortune to work on a geriatric ward and in the A&E (accident & emergency) dept of a major hospital. What u see there most ppl would not believe. In fact when a nurse is newly qualified they have to do three months in A&E. The horror they witness there leads many to quit the profession.

Sakartvelo is Caucasian just like the rest of us, there is no need to put aside your Caucasian heritage, be proud of it. Azerbaijan and Georgia need each other to survive.
