I worked in the department that provided support services to the senior execs and was volunteered to do projects for Rove and Hughes when BUSH jr. was running for Texas governor. Rove and Hughes and some others were NOT careful about their comments and plans to "get even" with Rather and others for alleged refusal to go along with their plans. JUST like some senior execs were incautious in the support of eugenics in meetings. Eugenics was the basis for Hitler's and others ethnic cleansing.

I have no desire to defend Rather, but what I HIGHLY object to is the LYING tactics of the NEOCONS such as Rove, Hughes and the infamous late Lee Atwater. I have worked with them when I was at ENRON and what I heard them say in incautious moment gave me a chill up my patriotic spine.
