It's funny how people think Karachi should be the capital of Pakistan only because it is the financial hub of the country. Yes Karachi is where all the money comes from but that does not mean that it should be the capital. Islamabad was made to be the capital for security reasons and it makes sense to have the government in one place with all the diplomats in a safer setting. UAE's financial capital is Dubai, but Abu Dhabi is the capital - no one in UAE whines about that
