I also do not see how Hamas and the brigades would be able to cease their terrorism against Israel when it is clear in their charter that they will not cease until Israel is no longer, and therefore they are acting without even recognizing Israel's right to exist. Such a land "swap" has recently been proposed by Israeli politicians, although I am unsure how far it has really been looked into.
