I do think that both players are amazing and anyone who says either of them is shit really needs to get their head looked out (a bold statement I know but I mean it). With all my bias's removed as a liverpool fan I'd have to say Gerrard as he is a much more complete and versatile player than lampard as he can perform epic takles as well as play beautiful passes and 40 yard screamers which means he contributes more for the team.

I'd personally go for Gerrard though this video is slightly biased in his favor. But Lampard is as important to Chelsea as Gearrard is to Liverpool and still a talent. I've developed great respect for him ever since he scored that CL penalty (the one that sent Liverpool out) the same week his mum died. It's just a shame they can't play together for England.
