They, can get chemotherapy, or a bone marrow transplant, chemo takes sometime to cure it, bone marrow transplants, take way less time usually, and have a good chance of curing it.

One of my close friends had leukemia when she was 4. She's healthy now although she still has to have routine checks of her heart and blood. Also, my boyfriend's father died of leukemia and him, his mother and two brothers always celebrate bandana day. I am shaving my head for leukemia in March 2009. Everybody should get behind the research of this horrible disease. Together we can make a difference.

my nephew got an infection 3 weeks ago we took him to the hospital where he stayed there for 2 weeks.the doctors notice his blood cells were swollen by 10 percent.The doctor told us its leukemia but he wanted to be sure so he send some blood to get tested.The results should come today but when I heard about this I started to cry my nephew is only 8 months and he is the light of the house.I notice my sister holds her pain also but I know she wants to die everytime she remembers

Lost my father to leukemia some years ago. He was suppose to live for maximum three months but he held on for a little more than a year. Was a strong man, in a year, made him look like he had aged fourthy years. I used to believe that he was going to make it even though doctors told us he could pass away any moment. Sorry that I don`t have a more positive experince to tell.

One of my closest friends (he's like my brother, though we aren't related) was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2006. I was there at some points when he had to undergo chemo and it was so hard to watch it. So painful to see him suffer. Even though I expierenced a lot of curing procedures with him, I still can't imagine how people can deal with Leukemia. I'm just so thankful that now he is almost as healthy as before the diagnosis. The video makes me want to scream at the injustice of the world.

I was 25 when I was diagnosed. Not once did I cry for me. But my mother, never did I think I was going to need her at this age. I can only imagine what the children feel. Oh and laughter is great therapy, so is faith. No matter who you pray to.

2. Get tested to be on the Bone Marrow Donor list so maybe you will one day be a bone marrow donor for someone fighting cancer 3. Take NEW (because of germs) stuffed animals or some other comforting thing to a children's hospital to give to cancer patients. It will bring a smile to faces and let them know someone cares. If you need any other ideas, or if you have some for me, let me know!

Aaa here is the start. I was diagnosed on the 22 of june (this year) with all. That was also my 21 birthday :) heh. They are treating my ALL with the protocol for children. Its the more agressive one. Im on the fourth cycle of my chemotherapy. Its gong well and yeah it cant and wont shatter my hope and dreams. At the moment i cant feel my fingers for the past 3 monthes and i have played the guitar from the age of 5. BUT life aint fair. Thats the only 100% truth.

And no one should have the privilege of loosing hope when they have at leest 1% chance of survival and i have 80% so :) im happy for that... How many % chance of survival had the guy that was shot on the street by someone that lost their mind and started to shoot all over the place. NON! So thats what keeps me going.. Thanks for this touching vid. It seems so unfair this disease... November 8th 2007, I was diagnosed with AML and learned the hard way to accept life as it is. Still remember the tears in the eyes of my two young children when they heared the bad news. Now I am so very gratefull that I was granted some extra time. This misery has strenghend my faith and made me a better person. Let us not question the ways of G*d. Psalm 103 reasures me that G*d is a caring father!

look into apricot seeds..it is a cure for cancer..fda is not for consumers. there was a doctor whose office was raided and shut down, license revoked all because he told a patient to take apricot seeds for their cancer. apricot seeds which have high concentrations of vitamin b-17..it is a major threat to drug companies who pay fda billions of dollar to keep apricot seeds off market..i hope this helps..it shrinks tumors & has a 80% success rate,chemo's success rate is much much lower than 80%

I run for TNT in two weeks Im going to Virgina Beach to do a 1/2 marathon 13.1 miles I did it last year too. I love TNT it is great to help people. You hang in there ok I will pray for you!!!!! I am truly sorry to hear of your very great loss of your beautiful daughter - there is a youtube user "miltmerm" who lives in the UK, spent 4 months in the hospital for leukemia treatment (ALL) a few years ago and made videos during the process and still post new updates sometimes, and does charity concerts to raise funds and awareness of leukemia - hope you'll check his videos out

This might be impossible to believe but the cure for cancer is vitamin B17. It is found in apricot seeds, apple seeds and so on. Dr. Krebs a microbiologist and cancer expert found that cancer is not a viral or bacterial disease but actually a vitamin deficiency disease. He wrote it in his book, "World without Cancer". This might be impossible to believe but the cure for cancer is vitamin B17. It is found in apricot seeds, apple seeds and so on. Dr. Krebs a microbiologist and cancer expert found that cancer is not a viral or bacterial disease but actually a vitamin deficiency disease. He wrote it in his book, "World without Cancer". Just remember that people DO live with leukemia. I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2004, and, at least for now, I continue to lead a full life. Despite what he has been through, Gavin seems so calm and happy - a real tribute, IMHO, to the quality of parenting he's getting. The love and strength really come through in the video.

Oh, Gavin. You can fight this sweetheart. I was just as old as you when I had leukemia too. I'm sixteen now, and I am healthy and I have succesfully completed radiation and chemotherepy. You can do this, you can beat it. I have faith. =]

Life is so precious and is taken for granted by so many. Enjoy life and all that is has to offer and learn from life's lessons. The chemo was tough on his little body but he did just fine.

Glad he is alive, you have him still. I've sat with friends newborn baby died & friend's daughter 18yrs died in crash. My son had medical treatment from 0yrs -2yrs(takes tough love to allow added pain with their treatment). I survived 1 full right side stroke, anuerism praise God brought me through. Stress levels & powerful emotions are similar Each individual story a raw feeling. Jesus died for me, understands pain, holds my hand as I sink beneath waves lifts me, walks me back to my boat.

The last picture really gave me tears in my eyes, it`s just something about it. The love of a sister and the support and caring from a family is the most important thing we have.. # years ago I became a father to a 3.5 month premature little boy. The struggle he had to stay alive and the rough treatment from all the heavy medications makes me wonder how he could survive, now healthy, strong and caring as he is. Thanks for reminding me not to take anything for granted..
