I still have two complete episodes of What's Up Doc? on VHS, as I starred as a child extra back in 1993, working with John Eccleston and Don Austen who played the two wolves. I'll try and dig out the tapes over the next week and see if I can salvage anything for YouTube. Will keep you posted!

Yeah, that's sort of the logic I was leaning towards. I think I might still try to fit a few licks in here and there though, especially in the chorus, where I feel like it needs that spice, or else it seems like something vital is missing. The solo will, I'm afraid, need to be salvaged though, or cut down to a little measure or two ditty of some sort. My humble opinion...Learn the licks and try them out. If it sounds too sparse, tuck them away until you have someone to hold down the rhythm. I recently faced the same issue when I was doing a solo gig without Hugh :-(. I had to discard some leads so the song would maintain its integrity. You have to serve the song.

That would be his mic. I saw BB last night at Pheonix theatre. (not one shown here) Niki evans was absolutly fantastic. I'm so proud of her, getting so far after the X Factor. The narrator is one terrific character though, i'll give you that. He has such a presense when he comes on the stage, like his appearance at the scene will bring a climax, major point or he'll freeze the scene to summarise what is...what might...and what could happen! Have to write about the play for drama coursework!

The microphones are on their heads because if they are put beside the actors/actresses mouths, when they sing and talk, the sticky tape unsticks and it then doesn't collect sound as well, also the actor/actress may find itannoying if its flapping about. Hope this explains the mic problem :D

You guys are solid. I'm an avid guitarist myself, as well as a dead/phish fan, and I respect the fact that you fellas 'go for it' as musicians. There's nothing more disconcerting than a musician that's too nervous to put there balls on the line. That said, from an aesthetic point-of-view, I would suggest wearing longer shorts or pants. The dude on the right is just one over-zealous strum away from testicular exposure. U can't expose your genitalia unless you're a big rock star.

E major or minor pentatonic/ Blues scale (min pentatonic with a b5 added) will work over the E, depending on the sound you're going for... Also E Myxolydian (A major from E to E). I'm sure I use all 3 of those. For the changes I usually switch to the major pentatonic that corresponds to the name of the chord (ie. B Maj pentatonic over the B, etc.)

Phish is an East coast band and they got their start doing the Vermont, Boston, Connecticut, NY...thing. I would have loved to have gotten to some east coast shows to experience that vibe.
