do you know anything about power to weight between a straat car and a full drag car??? its pretty diffrent and also 6 second cars are chromoly turbo fram cars and this car is not so its allot more heavy. do you know anything about drag cars? and also when your running those kind of numbers a little horse power doesnt make a huge diffrence

Before the AMS evo had 1000 whp it had 980 and it ran a low 8 then too. Point proven? Happy. Skylines run that easy as well. 2000whp is retarded if your only running 8's when cars with half that can keep up with you. Also I NEVER said cars with under a 1000 whp can run 8's I said cars with a third of 2000 whp can KEEP up with you. There is a turbo'd ls2 swapped camaro in my town pushing 700whp and it runs 9's? There is a 330whp maxima on spray that runs a low 10? Point proven???? I think it was.

Well let me start off with saying. You're right. It's pretty difficult to run those numbers with a FWD car. 1) Who cares about VW the car isn't awd so that's why. 2) AMS's evo 8 puts down a little over 1000awhp and they run low low 8's with it. ALso there are MANY skylines in japan that run low 8's high 7's with 1000-1500awhp. Point Proven> Search AMS if you want the proof? You sound like you know nothing about cars. Just because you know someone with a fast car. doesn't mean shit...

Id like to see something with less than 1000hp to the ground go into the 7's. Please forward any videos my way that will do that. What do you mean? There's bolt on nitrous...bolt on race heads that flow insane numbers, bolt on everything for a BBC. Do that with an unpopular engine and it might be impressive. If this was a street engine, then a power steering pump and AC would make it a true street car- something you could drive every day. But you could still just bolt this engine right together and drive right away. To me, that makes it pretty much pointless, just really expensive.

Gotta love BBC engines. Everything on that engine except the intake is bolt on. Bolt on blower, bolt on headers, heads, everything. And even that intake could have been purchased and bolted on if they wanted to. EFI is the only thing that's custom. And guess what? You can bolt on EFI too! Now make those numbers using a power steering pump, alternator and AC compressor and I'd be impressed. Not all that impressive when everything is available off the shelf. Just expensive.

It is a similar process but the ProChargers are belt driven. A turbo is driven off the exhaust, the exhaust spins a bladed impeller that has another bladed impeller connected to it that draws air into the motor. The blower has more instantaneous response, but the turbo has less parasitic loss.
