Everyone has their theories about whether he lived or died. Clearly, the desired reaction was achieved, but personally, I dont think that even the director could decide whether or not to kill him. I think he did this because he didnt know what to do. Just my 2 cents, not to put anything against him because this is a brilliant way to end it. The flashbacks to previous episodes could just be for nostalgic purposes, not neccesarily to point to his death. But whatever, great ending.

Also this guy I say on TLC injected himself with increasing doses of snake poison. He was a handler and having an immunity came in handy. the meaning of why they didn't meet up is pretty deep. the movie/book's motifs were about chance, free-will, and predestination. it was in chirguh's predestination that he will not kill Moss. this was represented early in the film when he tried shooting the bird on the bridge but he missed. The Bird was supposed to represent Moss.

No Country for Old Men was the only good film that Hollywood ever produced in the last 10 years. But I really don't like how Western film always has this Infallible and Invincible Character like Anton. I prefer Asian and European cinema nowadays because I just find it so realistic and just plain awesome seeing the "Ultimate Badass" get his ass kicked at the end by the guy who is his complete opposite. Someone who concentrates on intellect over physical ability. Just like in the movie Oldboy.

What sucks is that Moss gets killed so abruptly and undramatically, when you expect a climactic showdown between he and Chigurh. In the "Hotel Showdown", Moss, the Vietnam veteran, proves to be a serious challenge for Chigurh. It makes you wonder who would have won if it came down to the gunfight everyone expected. This movie has so many subtleties, I can't begin to go over them. Bottom line - I always viewed Fargo as the best Cohen Bros movie. Now I'm not so sure... Anyone Agree?

One of the best fight scenes in movie history. It was clumsy and ragged. Keith David and Roddy Piper did a great job in portraying this. The only thing I thought was suspect were the "wrestling suplexes". Other than that this was humorous as well. Only thing was missing was a spectating crowd.
