First off: Absolutely loved Shortbus. Loved everybody in it, and your performance as well! Then I just want to point out that I did search for Shortbus at imdb and have again several times since I first saw the film and have never needed to sign in. I don't know if it makes any difference that I've searched while in Spain and Sweden... Europe maybe has different rules on what needs to be flagged. Gob are a punk-pop band from Vancouver, British Columbia formed in 1994. They are currently working on their 6th album. Their hit single "I Hear You Calling" was featured on Electronic Arts NHL 2002 video game. The band is heavy on bass lines that include unusual (but not unwanted) bass "distortion" in them.
A couple of their songs appear in the canadian movie "Suddenly Naked".

Well my band was lucky enough to support dEUS round Europe a couple of years ago and I've no idea what tomupnolid's mates problem is but I can tell you for sure that the fault will lie squarely with him.. dEUS were just about the nicest bunch of guys it's been our pleasure to play with. Never have we had a band be so actively friendly and accommodating to us as support band, we loved every minute of the tour and didn't see even a hint of "Belgian arrogance", so what's your story tonupnolid?

If people want to drink sodas until they're fat Fat FAT, let em, but if businesses don't hire them, or their health insurance premiums increase because of obesity, then so be it! I don't live in New York, so granted, I won't be the recipient of this tax. I live very close in New Jersey, though, and if we were to get a tax on soda here, I would support it as well. If you don't want to pay the tax, don't buy the drink. The scientific evidence is there to prove that drinking it isn't good for you. If you don't care and want to drink anyways, then you can help pay for the healthcare problems that you and others may face with each can you buy.

This is brilliant! I agree with the soda tax but that is beside the point. I think the video is great! Purely from a PR standpoint, the administration is doing a really good job of promoting this issue. And Daines has some excellent points in here which makes this proposal even easier to defend. And if you know Daines, he is sort of a straight-laced dude. Which is why I find this video so entertaining!

Come on folks. A Big Mac and fries has 1200 calories without pop. You would have to drink 3 Liters of M.D. to equal that. Shall we tax Big Macs too? Cookies, cakes? any and all sweets? They could always impose fines on food manufacturers, then they in turn would raise there prices accordingly, without taxing anyone. Also, we are responsible as to what we put in our bodies. Some people are less responsible than others. I never needed a tax to keep me healthy. I DO have a mind of my own and do not need others or the government to micro-manage my life.
